Atlas Mountains Day Trip

Your Marrakech Atlas Mountains excursion departs from Marrakech with an experienced driver to the First Ourika Valley, approximately 1 hour drive from Marrakech. It is famous for its waterfalls. There are also Berber women extracting argan oil (the only Moroccan oil). You will also have spectacular views as far as the eye can see.

Taking a path that is at an altitude of 1800 meters, you will continue through the second valley known as the Oukaimeden valley.

You will pass through traditional Berber villages built of adobe and stones. If you want to experience the authentic life of the Berbers, we can organize for you a delicious lunch in a typical Berber house as an option.

Then, you will reach the third valley of Asni, famous for its fruit trees (apples, walnuts, almonds, peaches, etc.), it is here that you can enjoy the view of the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas of Marrakech.

You will then cross the Kik plateau, arriving at the magnificent Lake Takerkoust which is used as a reservoir and to generate hydroelectric power.

The Three Valleys Day Trip Departing From Marrakech in the Atlas Mountains ends with a return by car to Marrakech.
